Thank you, and Wow!

I don't compete for many blog awards, partly out of laziness and, I'm sure any shrink would tell you, partly out of fear of failing. (Which seems ridiculous since I have put myself out there in published format, laid bare to the slings and arrows of Amazon reviewers.)

Anyway, I won a bronze award for expats in the USA blogging, which is no mean feat given how many of us there are. (See, I can give myself a pat on the back from time to time.)

Every time I begin to wonder if the whole expat blogging/writing field has become over-crowded and a little "old", I find new material to read. The winners and other entrants to this years Expats Blog awards are really worth taking a look at.
