Ever had one of those weeks when you just can't be bothered? Well, that's me, this week. Couldn't think of a single thing to post about despite the fact that it's mayhem in our house at the moment. Nothing dreadful, but I can't even be bothered to blog about that.
Also haven't been commenting much so apologies there too.
Normal service will be resumed when that damn mojo returns.
Mojo's just can't be forced - a bit like small boys who should be in bed...off now to terrorise taods in beleif that this will encourage them to sleep...or at least stay in their rooms!!!! Here's hoping your mojo returns of its own accord soon!
ReplyDeleteOh horrors have committed mortal punctuation sin will do 100 lines re inappropriate use of apostrophes ....
ReplyDeleteI see you are Number 22 in the new Tots Index of bloggers. That should get your mojo back!
ReplyDeleteI greatly resemble that!
ReplyDeleteHa,ha. Enjoy your break Toni.
ReplyDeleteTrish - What? I thought you had to enter yourself to be on those lists? That's against my religion. Off to have a look.
ReplyDeleteYou may have noticed I was lacking mojo for about 4 months last year and went very quiet. So I get it totally!
ReplyDeletemy mojo was removed during my op. I am hoping it will be returned in a jar preserved, during my next visit to the hospital
ReplyDeleteAre we using "mojo" in the Austin Powers sense of the word?
ReplyDeleteThats not like you to lose your mojo!
ReplyDeleteI am always losing mine. It is surprising how you can write a perfectly interesting post about losing your mojo!
Hoping you find it soon.

Nuts in May
Blame it on the January blues. I just had a good moan about January on my blog. Don't worry, that mojo will breeze back in when you least expect it!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? The only thing I have posted an animated-lipstick video...
ReplyDeleteMeh. It's January.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I have to say on it. x
I'm thinking if you are in Chicago it takes most of your energy just to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI think it's called "January Blues'.
ReplyDeleteCulturally Dis- I think they're one and the same to most writers aren't they?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have taken to stripping wallpaper off the Man-Child's bedroom walls. Have bitten off way more than I can chew because a) his room is very large, b) the wallpaper isn't coming off very easily, and b) he wants it black and I can't decide whether to do paint or wallpaper.
Should've hired someone.
Hi - I did think I hadn't seen you around - I only post about once a week and spend half a day reading other blogs and commenting, so I miss quite a lot, but its impossible for me to do a daily post and read others too. Sometimes it all becomes too much and I had thought I would have a blog break myself, but the local BBC radio emailed me (I have been on their morning show a few times as a mummy blogger commenting on being an older mum type issues) and asked me if I would like to go into the studio next week and chat about my blog and my book as they had another author on (flattered they called me an author!!) talking about her book which is about having a child at 43. Therefore, I had my mind made up for me - I couldn't give up the blog as it is leading to other exciting things. Enough to get my mojo back, and I hope that, once the bedroom is decorated, you will be too!!
ReplyDeletePS My 11 year old wants her bedroom decorated red and black....I'm working more towards lilac and cream!
Ooh, Diney - how fabulous! Which station and when? - I can tune in on the web! I could write a bloody book about having a child when you're far too old (IMO) - maybe that's why my mo-jo's gone missing at the moment!
ReplyDeleteOh I know what you mean. I just couldn't write anything for most of this week, then forced myself yesterday because Babes told me all my readers would desert me. Charming. It must be the January thing. I hope your mojo comes back soon. And when it does, could it please tell me where mine is.
