Very busy at the moment hence the lack of bloggy chatter.
However, I do have a new post up at the BBC America web site for your delectation, if you'd care to check it out.
Have a great weekend everyone! I'm off to pick my little guy up from a one week sleepover camp in Michigan. If last year is anything to go by, he will have showered all week in the lake and I'll have to keep the windows open on the 2.5 hour drive back!
Boys!
That sounds great - we're thinking of sending off Cy to your coast next year. Sleepaways are not as popular here in ca for some reason
ReplyDeleteHi there, just went over to BBC. Is your post about Paella, I wanted to read and comment as you do such great articles but its grey writing on black background - cannot read it. Might be my laptop - I will check it on my computer at home and give you feedback if you like... Paella is one of my faves
ReplyDeleteAh, I love the after-trip conversations with grubby children bursting with stories about who did what and what adventures they had. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteHa ha - well was he smelly? Had a good time? I too seem to be a little busy for bloggy chat - but thinking of you! Hope you're summer is going well. Lx
ReplyDeleteThe Boys went to camp for many of their elementary/middle summer years, and the worst thing about it was opening the luggage when we got home. Compared to the concentrated funk that burst out of the duffel bags when they were opened, the Boys themselves just exuded a healthy, outdoorsy musk. Blech.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great article on the BBC site! And yes, I remember that boy smell. We had to fumigate my son's room when he left for uni. He's 27 now, married, and no longer at home so I sort of miss all that...I bet you will too! Hx
