No, I'm not going to get all touchy-feely and American on you - just wanted to share a moment of sweet hilarity.
My little guy has just spent a week at sleepaway camp, about two hours away. We picked him up Saturday morning and he was both exhausted and exhilarated. He talked for about the first hour, non-stop, both happy to see us and sad to leave his new friends.
It was when he said this that the Ball & Chain nearly drove off the road laughing -
"I missed you but I didn't get homesick. I must be emotionally stable."
He's 10!
Where did he pick up that particular phrase?! Too funny.
ReplyDeleteOh lord Gigi - he's 10 going on 80. Being so much younger than his sibs, he has always had a "mature" vocabulary, but watching American kids' TV definitely adds to it!
ReplyDeleteGoing on 17!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteVery cute....and yes, definitely the kind of thing they say on American kids' tv!
