Look at this......

Isn't it beautiful? I was up all night figuring out how to do it but it was worth it don't you think?

OK, OK, so there's more chance of me flying to Mars than producing something like this beautiful banner. Not that I had anyone fooled for a moment.

The lovely Melissa over at Smitten by Britain, could obviously not stand my ineptitude any longer. At first, she offered to help tidy up my own efforts, so I sent over the image. The amount of work needed to tidy up said image was clearly disproportionate to the result it would yeild, so Melissa made a brand new sparkly one for me.  Her exact words were "I went ahead and threw something together myself.. I couldn't get the images you sent to look any clearer".

Threw something together!! I can only imagine having the knowledge and the talent to do this and I am in awe.

And look - can you see - it's the skyline of Chicago in sillhouette?

Agh! I'm so excited I'm just doing a little bloggy dance.

Yay!

  13. I really enjoy reading your blog, partly because they give me someone else's perspective as a Brit that has upped sticks and now calls somewhere else "home".

I have created a site which features the burblings of blogging Brits living abroad at http://transplanted.collected.info/

As part of this, I have included a link to your posts. I hope you don't mind.

If you'd prefer me to delete this link, please let me know, and I shall remove it straight away.

    Thanks a lot!
