Dog in the Doldrums

A post by Vegemite Vix about her lovely dog prompted me to report on mine. While I'm merrily skipping about the house, working out when I would normally be doing the school run and eating cheese and crackers for dinner, the poor dog isn't having such a good time.

Normally my shadow, lying under the table where I work and outside the bathroom door when I…well, you know, she is now stationed elsewhere.

For the past few days her post has been in the hallway, half way between the front door and the bottom of the stairs as she's not quite sure where everyone is, nor where they will reappear.

And she really doesn't look too happy does she?

And yes, she needs a darn good brush!

  1. The poor love is discombobulated, too. Animals hate changes in their humans' routines.

  2. Perhaps she is worried that you might tidy her out of the way in your big spree! xx

  5. I know, so does ours - need a brush I mean. teddy just threw up twice on the floor but seems fine as soon as I give him some aloe succulents from outside, he loves them, not sure why. Thanks for your lovely words today and great advice, bad week for me, feeling better and more optimistic now
